VISPAC™ increases viscosity and provides fluid loss control to fresh water and salt based drilling fluids.
VISPAC™ is effective over a wide pH range and has a high tolerance to calcium.

VISPAC™ has shown to be effective in field application at bottom hole temperature in excess of 120oC (248oF).
Product Function
VISPAC™ is a cost effective means of controlling fluid loss and increasing viscosity in most water base drilling fluid systems.
Recommended treatment
VISPAC™ concentrations in the range of 0.25–2.0 lbs/bbl (0.7–5.7 kgs/m³) are required to control mud properties. The concentration used will be dependent upon fluid make up and the viscosity increase required.
