VISMIX is effective in the drilling of high angle and deviated holes as it restricts the formation of cuttings beds. VISMIX has been used effectively to drill unconsolidated sands on surface hole. VISMIX is an excellent casing milling fluid. VISMIX is thermally stable, has a low level of toxicity and is equally effective in fresh water and sea water. In spite of its high rheological properties VISMIX is an extremely shear thinning.

VISMIX is primarily utilized to drill highly deviated holes and in casing milling operations, when enhanced hole cleaning is required.

VISMIX is mixed in concentrations of 0.8 - 1.5 lbs/bbl (2.3 – 4.3 kgs/m3). The VISMIX is added to pre-hydrated high quality bentonite at a ratio of VISMIX: BENTONITE of 1:10. If certain/uncertain about the quality of the bentonite, pilot testing is recommended.

Transportation of VISMIX is not restricted by any regulatory agency.

Utilize normal precautions for employee protection when handling chemical products. Utilize appropriate respirator, gloves, goggles and apron. Refer to the Material Safety Data Sheet (MSDS) for this product prior to use.

VISMIX is packaged in 25 lbs (11.4 kgs) multiwall paper sack.
