Feature And Benefits
TRUVIS DV provides excellent suspension properties restricting the settlement of weighting agents and drilled cuttings up to 300 °F. TRUVIS DV provides excellent fluid loss control in drilling/completion fluids. TRUVIS DV is shear thinning and promotes low bit viscosity needed to maximize penetration rates, and high annular viscosity to ensure effective hole cleaning. TRUVIS DV is stable over a wide pH range and is effective in monovalent, divalent brine as well as fresh and sea water base drilling/completion fluids. TRUVIS DV minimizes the potential for formations damage and the filter cake can be easily removed by standard methods. TRUVIS DV is biodegradable and non-toxic.
Product Function
TRUVIS DV is used to viscosify drilling and completion fluids, to enhance their rheology, ensuring efficient hole cleaning, filtration control and effective suspension properties.
Recommended treatment
The effective concentration of TRUVIS–DV required will depend upon the base fluid being treated. Normal dosages are: ≤ 220°F – 4±1 ppb, ≤ 250°F – 6±2 ppb, ≤ 275°F – 8±2 ppb. Mix through hopper at a rate of 15–20 minutes every 25 kgs sack. It is recommended to pilot test to confirm and establish the dosage for each fluid type by the user.
Shipping References
Transportation of TRUVIS DV is not restricted by any regulatory agency.
