Product Function
TRUTHIN™ is an effective thinner/ deflocculant for normal and high temperature applications in water base drilling fluids.
TRUTHIN™ is most effective in freshwater fluids that are low in soluble calcium.
TRUTHIN™ is precipitated by high concentration of divalent cations such as calcium and magnesium. For this reason, the total hardness must be maintained below 200 mg/L with soda ash.
Recommended treatment
Treatment levels for TRUTHIN™ range from
0.1 - 2 lbs/bbl. The concentration of TRUTHIN required will depend upon the solids content in the drilling fluid system.
