TRUTHERM™ extends the stability of polymers permitting their use at higher temperatures. TRUTHERM™ reduces the rate at which polymer breaks down under high temperature conditions. TRUTHERM™ will buffer pH in the 10 - 11 range, reducing hydrolysis to a minimum.

TRUTHERM™ is utilized to increase the temperature tolerance of polymers in water base drilling completion and packer fluids.
Recommended treatment
TRUTHERM™ concentration of 2.0–4.0 lbs/bbl (5.7–11.4 kg/m³) is required to slow down the polymer thermal degradation process.

Handling Recommendations
Utilize normal precautions for employee protection when handling chemical products. Utilize appropriate respirator, gloves, goggles and apron. Refer to the Material Safety Data Sheet (MSDS) for this product prior to use.
