TRUSCALE SI4000 remains effective at elevated temperatures and pressures. Temperatures of up to 120°C and pressures of 2500psi normally cause no deterioration of Scale prevention effectiveness within limits of tested measurements.
Product Function
TRUSCALE SI4000 is used to inhibit Calcium, Barium, and strontium Carbonates and Sulphates formation in oil production systems. It is known to be very effective against Carbonate, silica and Sulphate Scaling.
Recommended treatment
TRUSCALE SI4000 can be used via continuous injection at a treatment rate of 5 - 50 ppm depending upon the severity of the Scaling problem. A specific recommendation will normally be made for each application. Optimisation of treatment should be performed according to Scale monitoring results.
