TRUPLUG HT BUFFER is used in conjunction with HT Delayed Activator to ensure premature setting does not occur. TRUPLUG HT BUFFER can be also used as an adjunct to HT Delayed Activator when pumping long distance downhole e.g. extended reach wells, to ensure pre-setting does not occur. TRUPLUG HT BUFFER can also be used in wells with relatively hot BHT’s 150 -195°C / 300-395°F to assure it does not set prematurely before reaching the target zone.

TRUPLUG HT BUFFER is intended specifically where the ambient surface temperature is relatively high, where mix water may be up to 50⁰ C. It is added after the basic Truplug premix has been made up, the pH is checked and adjusted to pH 7 – 7.5 using the HT Buffer. It is recommended that a pilot test is always carried out prior to its addition.

TRUPLUG HT BUFFER is used in conjunction with HT Delayed Activator. Normal concentration is between 0.5 – 4.0 ppb.

Transportation of TRUPLUG HT BUFFER is not restricted by any regulatory agency.
