Feature And Benefits
TRUPLUG is fully acid soluble, non hazardous, non toxic and biodegradable. It does not require specialized rig equipment for mixing. TRUPLUG is blend of milled borate salt and selected polymers that can be used at high temperature of up to 400⁰ F (204⁰ C). All components are of low particle size that can be safely pumped through mud motors, logging tools and other downhole equipment.
Product Function
TRUPLUG is pumped as a viscosified fluid to the loss zone where it sets up as a rigid, yet relatively soft and easily drilled out. The density can be adjusted with barite or other inert weighting agent. The mixed TRUPLUG system, with or without weighting agent can be held as a premix in advance of using. In hotter climates it may be necessary to add a biocide.
Recommended treatment
TRUPLUG is used at 100 lb/bbl. Add TRUPLUG through mixing hopper at 2–3 minutes per 50 lb sack. Volume of pill normally range from 50–120 bbls depends on hole sizes. TRUPLUG should be mixed in water or recommended non–calcium brine.
