TRUPAC RS increases viscosity and provides fluid loss control to fresh water and salt based drilling fluids. TRUPAC RS is effective over a wide pH range and has a high tolerance to calcium contamination. TRUPAC RS has a strong affinity for clay surfaces and will restrict their hydration and dispersion. TRUPAC RS is not susceptible to bacterial degradation. TRUPAC RS has shown to be effective in field applications at bottom hole temperatures in excess of 300⁰F (149⁰C).

TRUPAC RS provides superior fluid loss control and viscosity in most water based drilling mud system.

TRUPAC RS concentrations in the range of 0.25–2.0 lbs/bbl (0.7–5.7 kgs/m³) are required to control mud properties. The concentration used will be dependent upon fluid make up and the viscosity increase required.

Transportation of TRUPAC RS is not restricted by any regulatory agency.

Utilize normal precautions for employee protection when handling chemical products. Utilize appropriate respirator, gloves, goggles and apron. Refer to the Material Safety Data Sheet (MSDS) for this product prior to use.
