TRUPAC™ R provides supplementary viscosity and reduce filtration rate in fresh water and salt based drilling fluids. TRUPAC™ R is effective over a wide pH range and has a high tolerance to contamination. TRUPAC™ R has a strong affinity for clay surfaces and will restrict their hydration and dispersion. TRUPAC™ R is not susceptible to bacterial degradation. TRUPAC™ R has shown to be effective in field applications at bottom hole temperatures up to 300⁰F (149⁰C).

TRUPAC™ R is cost effective means of controlling fluid loss and increasing viscosity and improve quality of filter cake in water base drilling fluid systems.

TRUPAC™ R concentrations in the range of 0.5–2.0 lbs/bbl (1.43–5.71 kgs/m³) are required to control filtration rate. Addition must be made slowly and evenly through a hopper at rate of 10–20 minutes every 25 kgs sack.

Transportation of TRUPAC™ R is not restricted by any regulatory agency.

Utilize normal precautions for employee protection when handling chemical products. Utilize appropriate respirator, gloves, goggles and apron. Refer to the Material Safety Data Sheet (MSDS) for this product prior to use.
