TRUPAC™ LV provides filtration control, stabilizes rheological properties and gives low plastic viscosity of most water base drilling fluids. TRUPAC™ LV has a strong affinity for clay surfaces and will restrict their hydration and dispersion. TRUPAC™ LV is not susceptible to bacterial attack. TRUPAC™ LV has shown to provide stable filtration control at bottom hole temperatures up to 300⁰F (149⁰C). TRUPAC™ LV has a high tolerance to divalent ions and is effective over a wide pH range.

TRUPAC™ LV will control filtration rate and improve quality of filter cake in fresh water and salt–based drilling fluid system.

Concentrations in the range of 0.25–3.0 lbs/bbl (0.7–8.6 kgs/m³) are required to control and maintain filtration rate. The actual treatment will depend upon the composition of the drilling fluid and drilling conditions encountered.

Transportation of TRUPAC™ LV is not restricted by any regulatory agency.

Utilize normal precautions for employee protection when handling chemical products. Utilize appropriate respirator, gloves, goggles and apron. Refer to the Material Safety Data Sheet (MSDS) for this product prior to use.
