TRUOILSCAV HS is effective in scavenging hydrogen sulfide in oil-based drilling and completion fluids. TRUOILSCAV HS can be injected continuously into gas gathering lines, oil tanks, holding pits, and vapor overheads. TRUOILSCAV HS can be diluted with xylene or other compatible solvent for application purposes, after heating to 45°C for better pourability. TRUOILSCAV HS is able to perform fast H2S removal even in presence of water, thanks to its lack of water solubility. TRUOILSCAV HS has a very high temperature tolerance. TRUOILSCAV HS is not hazardous and not dangerous for transport.

TRUOILSCAV HS is a safe and cost-effective means of neutralizing the toxic effects of H2S in drilling, completion operations, gas gathering lines, oil tanks, holding pits and Vapour overheads.

TRUOILSCAV HS optimal rating dosage should be verified in pilot testing prior to field usage, since the amount required depends on sulfide levels in the crude or gas production. The dosage rate of TRUOILSCAV HS is about 10 ppm for each ppm of H2S, meaning that 1 lb/bbl is enough to remove approx. 270 ppm of H2S.

Transportation of TRUOILSCAV HS is not restricted by any regulatory agency.
