Recommended treatment
The amount TRUKLAY of as a liquid additive, TRUKLAY readily blends into water-based systems. Allow to blend completely before circulating. 1 - 2 gallons per 24 bbl (1,000 gallons) of base fluid is equivalent to 2%/wt. dry Potassium Chloride. Higher concentrations may be necessary for highly sensitive clay formations. Pilot testing will aid to determine the appropriate concentration for a specific scenario.
