Product Function
TRUGUARD C functions primarily as a shale inhibitor or encapsulator.
TRUGUARD C can also be used as a clay stabilizer in workover and completion fluids, fracturing fluids and acidizing treatments.
Recommended treatment
A typical dosage rate is 1.0 – 3.0 % v/v as supplied. However, dosage rates of 3.0 – 6.0 %v/v may be required depending upon the reactivity of the shale and the amount of shale
to be drilled.

Handling Recommendations
Utilize normal precautions for employee protection when handling chemical products. Utilize appropriate respirator, gloves, goggles and apron. Refer to the Material Safety Data Sheet (MSDS) for this product prior to use.

TRUGUARD C is supplied in bulk, 275 gal. Non-returnable semi-bulk containers or 55 gal. non-returnable plastic drums.
