Feature And Benefits
➢ Excellent acid foaming agent
➢ Temperature stable above 212OF (100OC)
➢ Does not break down in HCl at higher temperatures
➢ Suspends solid particles and fines
➢ Does not plate out on the pipe or formation
➢ Tolerant to brine and crude
Product Function
TRUFOAM™ AS contains organic molecules whose ionic charges depend on the pH of the fluid. As the pH rises, the charge changes from cationic to nonionic to anionic. This change in pH helps to enhance flow–back after the acid job because anionic surfactants leave sandstones “water–wet”.
TRUFOAM AS can be used in well clean–out operations because the foamed acid is more readily recovered from wells, especially those with depleted bottom hole pressures.
TRUFOAM AS works in the presence of all oil field brines and is tolerant of clay fines, crude oil and condensate.
Recommended treatment
The recommended concentration for TRUFOAM™ AS is 1–5 gal/1000 gallons (1–5 L/m3) as a surfactant and 5–15 gal/1000 gallons (5–15 L/m³) as a foamer.
