TRUCIDE GA25™ is effective as an algaecide as well as bactericide for controlling aerobic and anaerobic bacteria.
The effectiveness of TRUCIDE GA25 is based on the chemical reaction of glutaraldehyde with the amino groups of the micro- organisms.
TRUCIDE™ GA25 is most effective in an alkaline media; however it is effective at neutraI pH and mildly acidic media.
Product Function
TRUCIDE™ GA25 application levels in drilling fluids are 250 to 500 ppm depending on mud properties. Generally, treat with a 0.02–0.06 gal/bbl (0.48–1.43 ltr/m³) directly to the circulating system.
Recommended treatment
TRUCIDE™ GA25 is used in any water base fluids ideally for a system containing starch and other polymers that are readily biodegradable.
