TRUCIDE™ 5025 will provide biocidal protection for producing wells and crude oil delivery lines particularly at high water/oil ratios. TRUCIDE™ 5025 also possesses algaecidal and fungicidal properties. TRUCIDE™ 5025 will also form a persistent bond with metal surfaces which resists the corrosive attack of acid gases.
Product Function
TRUCIDE™ 5025 controls sulphate reducing bacteria during hydro testing in water flood operations, cooling circuits and storage tanks.
Recommended treatment
Continuous treatment is recommended at 5–10 ppm for bacterial and corrosion protection. Control of bacterial growth can also be achieved with batch treatments of 250–500 ppm as required.
