TRUCEL HV is effective at increasing viscosity and controlling fluid loss in most water base drilling fluids. TRUCEL HV is resistant to bacterial attack and calcium contamination. TRUCEL HV is thermally stable to 300⁰F.
Product Function
TRUCEL HV is used to increase viscosity and reduce the fluid loss in dispersed and non–dispersed drilling fluid systems.
Recommended treatment
TRUCEL HV concentrations in the range of 0.5–2.5 lbs/bbl (1.4–7.2 kgs/m³) are required to provide fluid loss control. The actual concentration utilized is dependent upon the specific fluid properties required.
