Feature And Benefits
Quick Thin CRL is compatible with all water base mud systems and very effective in fresh and sea water mud system. Quick Thin CRL is effective at temperatures up to 450 ⁰F (232 ⁰C). Quick Thin CRL reduces differential pressure sticking tendencies by reducing the filter cake thickness and HTHP fluid loss. Quick Thin CRL contains the chrome in Cr+³ valance state. Quick Thin CRL is excellent soluble in water based systems, and remains active in presence of contaminants.
Product Function
Quick Thin CRL is used to improve the filtration control, reduce viscosity and increase rheological stability in water base muds exposed to high temperatures. Quick Thin CRL is presolublized in lower salinity, high pH fluid when used with saturated salt or low pH mud systems.
Recommended treatment
Recommended treatment for Quick Thin CRL is generally 2.0 – 8.0 lbs/bbl (5.7 – 22.8 kgs/m³). For improved HTHP filtration control and rheological stability under adverse condition may require greater concentrations. A pH range of at least 9.5 and above is required to for product performance for improved mud systems.
Shipping References
Transportation of Quick Thin CRL is not restricted by any regulatory agency.
