Quick Thin CLS is an effective deflocculant and rheology stabilizer for a wide range of water base drilling systems. Quick Thin CLS helps in fluid loss control without high concentrations of clay or filtration control agents. Quick Thin CLS is effective in scavenging soluble oxygen in circulating system. Quick Thin CLS is tolerant to presence of contaminants and is stable up to 350 ° F (176° C). Quick Thin CLS effectively inhibits bentonitic cuttings and shale hydration when used in sufficient concentrations. Quick Thin CLS contains the chrome in acceptable Cr+³ valance state.

Quick Thin CLS is effective in viscosity control and fluid loss reduction of all water based mud systems from fresh water to salt, lime, gypsum and potassium systems. Quick Thin CLS requires addition of caustic Soda or alternative alkaline material to maintain alkaline pH. For Lower pH systems, the product can be premixed in a higher alkalinity solution prior to being added to the active mud system.

Normal treatment for Quick Thin CLS is 1.0 – 10.0 lbs/bbl (2.85 – 28.5 kgs/m³). Initial treatment usually ranges from 1.0 – 6.0 lb/ bbl (2.85 – 17.1 kg/m³) depending on the mud system, solids content.

Transportation of Quick Thin CLS is not restricted by any regulatory agency.

Need only normal precautions for employee protection when handling chemical products. Appropriate respirator, gloves, goggles and apron need to be utilized. Refer to the Material Safety Data Sheet (MSDS) for this product prior to use.

Quick Thin CLS is packaged in 50 lb (22.7 kgs) multiwall paper sacks.
