POLYLOSE™ BNT acts as a colloidal blocking particle to prevent water movement. This process restricts the swelling and dispersion of cuttings, and helps to reduce ultra fine solids build up. POLYLOSE™ BNT has minimal effect on viscosity and low fluid loss values can be attained without affecting drilling rates and solids removal efficiency. POLYLOSE™ BNT is non–damaging to formations and can be utilized in drilling, workover, and completion fluids. POLYLOSE™ BNT is effective at controlling fluid loss in both weighted and low solids drilling fluids over wide pH ranges. POLYLOSE™ BNT shows stability in laboratory tests at 250⁰F (121⁰C) and has been used effectively in the field at 275⁰F (135⁰C).

POLYLOSE™ BNT maintains filtration control in all types of water base drilling and completion fluids, including those which contain high concentrations of monovalent and multivalent cations.

POLYLOSE™ BNT concentration of 2.0–6.0 lbs/bbl (5.7–17.1 kgs/m³) is the normal range of treatment. Mix POLYLOSE BNT through hopper at a rate of 5 to 10 minutes every 25 kgs sack.

Transportation of POLYLOSE™ BNT is not restricted by any regulatory agency.
