Feature And Benefits
OILVIS™ improves the performance of organoclay resulting in quick development of yield point and gel structure. OILVIS™ reduces the high temperature high pressure fluid loss and improves emulsion stability. OILVIS™ is compatible with all the additives used in non aqueous mud system.
Product Function
OILVIS™ quickly develops increased gel structure providing a thixotropic fluid. OILVIS™ will increase the yield point and gel strength of the fluid to provide carrying capacity for cuttings and suspension of the weighing agents. A high gel strength decreases the settling rate of weighting agents.
Recommended treatment
Normal treatment for OILVIS™ is 0.25– 2 lbs/bbl (0.71– 5.7 kgs/m³) for existing fluid. It can be used for viscous sweeps or spacer fluids. The concentration for sweeps and thickned oil mud spacer is 0.25 – 1.0 lb/bbl (0.71 – 2.85 kg/m³).
Shipping References
Transportation of OILVIS™ is not restricted by any regulatory agency.
