OILTREAT™ is effective at reducing high yield points and gel strengths caused by the addition of excessive amounts of organophyllic clay. OILTREAT™ will reduce the viscosity caused by high concentrations of drilled solids, particularly in high density fluids. OILTREAT™ is effective at low concentrations and has little or no effect on emulsion stability or filtration properties.

OILTREAT™ provides an effective means of reducing high viscosity caused by organophyllic clay and / or drilled solids.

OILTREAT™ is normally added in concentrations of 0.5–2.0 lbs/bbl (0.25–1.00 kgs/m³). Pilot testing is recommended prior to making additions to the active drilling fluid system.

Transportation of OILTREAT™ is not restricted by any regulatory agency.

Utilize normal precautions for employee protection when handling chemical products. Utilize appropriate respirator, gloves, goggles and apron. Refer to the Material Safety Data Sheet (MSDS) for this product prior to use.

OILTREAT™ is packaged in 55 USG steel drum containing 190 kgs net and in 6 USG pail containing 25 kgs net.
