Feature And Benefits
OILTREAT™ is effective at reducing high yield points and gel strengths caused by the addition of excessive amounts of organophyllic clay.
OILTREAT™ will reduce the viscosity caused by high concentrations of drilled solids, particularly in high density fluids.
OILTREAT™ is effective at low concentrations and has little or no effect on emulsion stability or filtration properties.
Product Function
OILTREAT™ provides an effective means of reducing high viscosity caused by organophyllic clay and / or drilled solids.
Recommended treatment
OILTREAT™ is normally added in concentrations of 0.5–2.0 lbs/bbl (0.25–1.00 kgs/m³). Pilot testing is recommended prior to making additions to the active drilling fluid system.
Shipping References
Transportation of OILTREAT™ is not restricted by any regulatory agency.
