Feature And Benefits
OILGEL™ increases the yield point and gel strengths of invert emulsion drilling fluids. OILGEL™ is readily dispersible, contributes to emulsion stability and is thermally stable to 177 ˚C (350 ˚F) under field conditions. OILGEL™ is effective in mineral base oil, diesel oil and produced oil.

OILGEL™ is an effective viscosifier for most invert emulsion drilling fluids.
Recommended treatment
OILGEL™ normally added in concentrations of 2.0–6.0 lbs/bbl (5.7–17.0 kgs/m³). The actual treatment required will depend upon the properties of the invert emulsion drilling fluid to be treated.
