NOFOAM SBW is effective to eliminate foam associated with mixing and circulating brines. NOFOAM SBW will control foaming in dispersed and non–dispersed drilling fluid systems. NOFOAM SBW will prevent re–foaming.
Product Function
NOFOAM SBW is normally utilized in controlling foam in brines and is effective in most water base drilling fluid systems. It can be used as antifoam as well as a defoamer in these systems.
Recommended treatment
Pre–treatment to make up water is recommended for best results. Normal treatment is 0.5–1 gal/100 bbl (0.12–0.24 liters/m3).
