NOCOR™ 5015 is formulated to combat the corrosive effects of dissolved oxygen and anaerobic and aerobic bacteria. NOCOR™ 5015 has a strong affinity for steel surfaces and will provide protection against the corrosive effects of carbon dioxide and hydrogen sulphide. NOCOR™ 5015 is effective in and compatible with fresh water, sea water as well as sodium chloride and calcium chloride brines.

NOCOR™ 5015 is a single product approach to corrosion control in water based completion fluids.

NOCOR™ 5015 treatment rates will range from 0.25–0.50% by volume. The completion fluid should be filtered of any insoluble solids prior to treatment with NOCOR 5015. If this is not possible, higher concentrations will be required to accommodate for the NOCOR 5015 that has been adsorbed on to the solids.

Transportation of NOCOR™ 5015 is not restricted by any regulatory agency.

Utilize normal precautions for employee protection when handling chemical products. Utilize appropriate respirator, gloves, goggles and apron. Refer to the Material Safety Data Sheet (MSDS) for this product prior to use.

NOCOR™ 5015 is packaged in 55 USG (208 liters) HDPE drum containing 215 kgs net weight.
