NOCOR™ 4089 provides excellent film persistency which can be applied by batch or continuous treatment. NOCOR™ 4089 can also be used for corrosion control in surface facilities and transmission lines. NOCOR™ 4089 remains effective when operating temperatures exceed 150⁰C (302⁰F).

NOCOR™ 4089 provides long–term film life to prevent corrosion in producing wells, crude flow lines and gas transmission lines.

NOCOR™ 4089 is normally diluted at a ratio of one part chemical to nine parts or more high aromatic solvent. Producing Wells: Optimum protection will be provided with a batch treatment of 1000 ppm NOCOR 4089. Circulate the oil well for the maximum possible time following inhibitor injection. Continuous treatment with NOCOR 4089 is normally made at 10–25 ppm based on total produced fluid. Transmission Lines: Inject into the oil system continuously 10–50 ppm based on total fluid throughput. Continuous treatment in gas systems consists of adding one pint of the NOCOR 4089 solvent mixture per MMSCF of gas.

Regulatory agencies classify NOCOR™ 4089 as combustible liquid with UN 1993 for transportation.
