NO–OX™ 65 is a highly concentrated product and an effective means of controlling oxygen corrosion in water base drilling fluids. NO–OX™ 65 is fast acting and easy to use.

NO–OX™ 65 removes dissolved oxygen in clear and solids laden fluids to prevent pitting type corrosion.

NO–OX™ 65 should be added at a ratio 10: 1 based on the amount of dissolved oxygen in the system. A NO–OX 65 concentration of 10 ppm will scavenge 1.0 ppm of dissolved oxygen. Normal oxygen concentrations in sea water is 8–10 mg/l. It is recommended that in normal drilling conditions 0.005–0.01 gal/bbl (0.13–0.25 ltr/m³) of NO–OX™ 65 be added to system initially. Monitor dissolved oxygen and sulphite concentration to determine maintenance treatment.

International shipping agencies classify NO–OX™ 65 as corrosive under UN # 2693.

Utilize normal precautions for employee protection when handling chemical products. Utilize appropriate respirator, gloves, goggles and apron. Refer to the Material Safety Data Sheet (MSDS) for this product prior to use.

NO–OX™ 65 is packaged in 55 USG (208 liters) steel drum containing 275 kgs net weight.
