KWIK–SPOT™ is used to formulate spotting fluids in all types of base oils, i.e. crude, diesel, mineral and LUBE 100 RS. KWIK–SPOT™ forms a stable water–in–oil emulsion which allows the oil and surfactants to penetrate the filter cake and therefore equalize the differential pressure holding the drill string against the side of the hole. KWIK–SPOT™ fluids will provide the rheological properties needed to ensure suspension of weighting materials.

KWIK–SPOT™ is utilized to free stuck pipe where a weighted spotting fluid is required. KWIK–SPOT™ can also be used in an unweighted application.

The recommended KWIK–SPOT™ formulations are tabulated. The oil / water ratio is adjusted upward as the fluid density is increased.

Transportation of KWIK–SPOT™ is not restricted by any regulatory agency however, it is classified as a combustible liquid.Hazard Classification UN number:3082.

Utilize normal precautions for employee protection when handling chemical products. Utilize appropriate respirator, gloves, goggles and apron. Refer to Material Safety Data Sheet (MSDS) for this product prior to use.

KWIK–SPOT™ is packaged in steel drum containing 180 kgs net weight.
