Product Function
K-TONE 500 A-2 is an effective viscosifier for most invert emulsion drilling fluids.
K-TONE 500 A-2 helps improve hole cleaning during drilling and workover operations. Gel oil muds for long-term suspension of weighting agents in packer fluids and casing packs
Recommended treatment
K-TONE 500 A-2 normally added in concentrations of 1.0– 5.0 lbs/bbl. Add it slowly through the hopper. The actual treatment required will depend upon the properties of the invert emulsion drilling fluid to be treated.
Note: Decrease yielding time by adding a small stream of water through the hopper at the same time.

Handling Recommendations
