K-TONE 500 has a high gelling efficiency over low to medium polarity organic liquids. K-TONE 500 has a high viscosity and excellent thickening property over a wide temperature range. It imparts particle suspension, owns anti-corrosion property and temperature resistance property. K-TONE 500 exerts strong film reinforce action in organic binder systems. K-TONE 500 is readily dispersible, and contributes to emulsion stability K-TONE 500 is effective in mineral base oil, diesel oil and produced oil.

K-TONE 500 is an effective viscosifier for most invert emulsion drilling fluids.

K-TONE 500 normally added in concentrations of 2.0– 14.0 lbs/bbl. The actual treatment required will depend upon the properties of the invert emulsion drilling fluid to be treated.

Transportation of K-TONE 500 is not restricted by any regulatory agency.
