HCHT STARCH BREAKER ENZYME

HCHT STARCH BREAKER ENZYME is a liquid that is readily dissolved in fresh water, sea water or completion brine together with other ARCASOLVE™ chemicals to produce ORCA™ for WBM acidizing or combined acidizing and polymer breaker fluids. These formulations are typically used for well treatments to remove drilling mud damage in a wide range of types of completion in oil and gas production wells and water and gas injection wells. The characteristics of these fluids make them particularly suited to open hole horizontal/directional wells including slotted liner, scree or gravel pack completions.

Product Function

HCHT STARCH BREAKER ENZYME is typically used in wells with a bottom hole static temperature in the range 20°C-130°C. It is also compatible with Cleansorb’s polymer breaker products such as starch, cellulose or xanthan breaker enzymes and is used in combination with these breakers to treat mud cake damage where more than one type of polymer is present.

Recommended treatment

Typically used at up to 0.5% v/v dissolved in completion brine for most applications although lower or higher concentrations can be used if required. Contact supplier for specific guidance on suitable formulations.
