Product Function
CS-GBC-1 increases the rate of acid production from acid precursor chemicals incorporated in ORCA WBM formulations. It is compatible with Clensorb polymer breakers, such as starch, cellulose or Xanthan breaker enzymes for simultaneous downhole acidizing and polymer breaker treatments. It also buffers the PH of oilfield brines in to the range where these polymer breaker enzymes are effective. It is used in a wide range of down hole stimulation and completion applications, particularly at higher down hole temperatures.
Recommended treatment
Typically used at up to 2% w/v dissolved in completion brine for most applications although higher concentrations can be used if required. Contact supplier for specific guidance on ORCA for WBM formulations for particular applications.
Shipping References
Transportation of CS-GBC-1 is not restricted by any regulatory agency. CS-GBC-1 is stable for at least 1 year If stored in the sealed containers as supplied and out of direct sunlight to avoid overheating.
Handling Recommendations
Utilize normal precautions for employee protection when handling chemical products. Utilize appropriate respirator, gloves, goggles and apron. Refer to the Material Safety Data Sheet (MSDS) for this product prior to use.
Standard Packing
CS-GBC-1 is supplied in 250 kg net plastic drums or 1000 kg (net) IBC s as required.
