BIOPOLY E provides good suspension properties restricting the settlement of weighting agents and drilled cuttings. BIOPOLY E is shear thinning and promotes low bit viscosity needed to maximize penetration rates, and high annular viscosity to ensure effective hole cleaning. BIOPOLY E is stable over a wide pH range and its effective in saturated brines as well as fresh and sea water base drilling fluids.

BIOPOLY E is used in drilling and completion fluids to enhance their rheology, ensuring efficient hole cleaning and effective suspension properties.

The effective concentration of BIOPOLY E required will depend upon the base fluid being treated. Treatment levels are normally in the range of 0.50– 2.0 lb/bbl (1.5 –5.71 kg/m³)
