BH BEADS™ reduce torque and drag on the drill string by creating a "ball bearing" effect in the well bore. BH BEADS™ are utilized to facilitate the running of casing in deviated holes. BH BEADS™ can be added to water and oil base drilling fluids with little or no effect on fluid properties. BH BEADS™ reduces torque and casing wear associated with metal to metal contact down–hole. BH BEADS™ are available in diameters of 0.25 mm (Fine) and 0.65 mm (Coarse).

BH BEADS™ are utilized to reduce down hole friction associated with drilling and running casing.

Recommended treat whilst drilling is 4–6 lb/bbl (11.4–17.1 kg/m³). Batch treatments of 30 bbls (5m³) consisting of 6–12 lb/bbl (17.1–34 kg/m³) can be used in wire line logging, surveying and mud motor operations. Additions in excess of 18.0 lb/bbl (51.5 kg/m³) are not recommended. BH BEADS™ (Fine) will pass through a 30 mesh shaker screen while the BH BEADS™ (Coarse) will pass through a 12 mesh shaker screen. The concentration of BH BEADS™ in the drilling fluid can be monitored using the API Sand Content Kit.

Transportation of BH BEADS™ is not restricted by any regulatory agency.

Utilize normal precautions for employee protection when handling chemical products. Use of appropriate respirator, gloves, goggles and apron is recommended for employee comfort and protection. Refer to the Material Safety Data Sheet (MSDS) for this product prior to use.
