ACIDGEN FG3

Acidgen FG3 is a liquid acid precursor that is dissolved in fresh water, seawater or completion brine together with other ORCA for WBM chemicals to produce treatment fluids for water based mud damage or acidizing carbonate formations. Ideally the ph of the base brine should be in the range of 6 – 8 before adding Acidgen FG3. The rate of acid production from Acidgen FG3 may be accelerated down hole by including one of the following catalysts in the fluid formulation: C55 Enzyme or CS – GBC – 1.

Feature And Benefits
To treat drilling mud damage within the reservoir section of open hole wells drilled with water based muds particularly ones containing CaCO₃ and or carbonate drill cuttings fines. Soluble in wide range of completion brine types and brine densities. Used particularly @ bottom hole static temperature below 60˚C or where higher rates of acid production are required.
Product Function
Acidgen FG3 can be used in a wide range of down hole stimulation and completion applications in oil and gas production wells and water and gas injection wells. It is typically used in wells with bottom hole static temperature in the range 20˚C - 80˚C.
Recommended treatment
Typically 5 – 10 % w/v dissolved in completion brine for most applications lower or higher concentrations can be used. Contact supplier for specific guidance on ORCA for WBM formulations for particular applications.
