Petrochem Performance Chemicals (PPC), a proud member of Mazrui Energy (A Mazrui International company), is excited to announce the official signing of its strategic partnership with Arva Greentech Remediation AG , a Swiss-German company which carries on the business of supply of patented technology and products for the sustainable remediation of contaminated substrates such as treatment of oil base drill cuttings and soil contaminated with oil spills.The agreement was signed during the recent ADIPEC 2024 tradeshow at the Mazrui Energy Stand (Hall 1, #1130). The signing was led by Mr. Samir Anwar , Regional Manager of PPC, and Mr. Oskar Lienemann , Managing Director of Arva, with the full support of Mazrui International GCEO, Mr. Charbel Khoury , Shareholder, Mohammed Al Mazrui , Government & Public Relation’s Manager, Mohammed Bakhuraisa, Mazrui Energy Director, Danny Fournel , and members of the Petrochem management team, including Lina Mourad, Purchasing Manager, Girish Sarap , Regional Technical Manager, and Monir Hassan , Operations Manager.Driving Sustainable Innovation in the RegionArva’s super-oxidation technology provides an effective and eco-friendly solution for decontaminating oil-based mud (OBM) drill cuttings, oil spills, and contaminated soil. This technology achieves a reduction of up to 85% in CO2 emissions compared to traditional methods like Thermal Desorption Units (TDU), offering a highly efficient and environmentally sustainable approach.This collaboration enables PPC to broaden its services and offer clients innovative and sustainable waste management solutions. It also aligns with Mazrui Energy’s vision of “Accelerating Tomorrow’s Energy Today” and its commitment to “Empowering the Future of Energy.”This partnership highlights Petrochem’s ongoing dedication to supporting the energy transition and addressing environmental challenges. Our Chairman, H.E. Abdulla Mohamed Al Mazrui has recently visited Kuwait to launch the LMP expansion of our drilling fluids solutions operating company, Petrochem Performance Chemicals (PPC) – part of the Mazrui Energy division.The special occasion was well attended by high-level personalities to warmly welcome and congratulate our Chairman and the rest of the PPC Team. The UAE Ambassador of Kuwait, Dr. Matar AlNeyadi, and our Kuwait local partners, Thunayan Al Ghanim and Saoud Al Ghanim of Al Ghanim Oil & Gas were present during the special occasion.Over the past three years, PPCs operational excellence has been recognized by KOC with significant growth in the number of rigs supported by PPC. To accommodate this continued growth of PPC work volume in Kuwait, it was necessary to expand our operational facility from a 10,000bbl to a 15,250bbl capacity. The additional 7 x 750bbl tanks were fabricated, installed, and commissioned in June of 2022.Congratulations to the outstanding team in Kuwait and may you continue to be the ‘flagship’ not only of PPC operations but of Mazrui Group also.

Mazrui Energy’s drilling fluids solutions operating company, Petrochem Performance Chemicals [PPC] recently had a successful commissioning in their Kuwait LMP facility.When opening the Petrochem Performance Chemicals [PPC] Liquid Mud Plant in December 2019 to support the newly awarded Kuwait Oil Company [KOC] contract, PPC was servicing 3 drilling rig operations and 4 workover rigs, for the build and supply of drilling fluids.Over the past two and a half years, PPCs operational excellence has been recognized by KOC, and now this number of rigs supported has increased to 9 drilling and 19 workover rigs. To accommodate this continued growth of PPC work volume in Kuwait, it was necessary to expand our operational facility from a 10,000bbl to a 15,250bbl capacity. The additional 7 x 750bbl tanks were fabricated, installed and commissioned in June of 2022.Congratulations to the outstanding team in Kuwait and may you continue to be the ‘flagship’ not only of PPC operations, but of KOC’s also.

The scope of the accreditation focuses on the Provision of Drilling Fluids Services and Specialty Chemicals – UAE operation.API Q2 is a Quality Management system for Service Supply Organizations for the Petroleum and Natural Gas Industries, it is the highest international standard for Oil and Gas service providers.PPC is a Mazrui Energy company established in Abu Dhabi since 1993. It is one of the largest regional providers of drilling fluids products and engineering services in the Oil & Gas industry in the UAE, Kuwait, Qatar, Iraq & Yemen. PPC is also merited ISO standards; 9001:2015, ISO 14001:2015, ISO 45001:2018 international certifications with British Safety Council Membership and a partner of iirsm.This new milestone achievement is remarkable for the whole Mazrui Group as we continue to improve our Management, Quality, Health and Safety, and Environmental Systems.
